Ministries We Support

Our church currently supports many different ministries financially. We have missionaries in Mexico, Thailand, Oxford, and more. We also support missionaries through the International Mission Board through offerings including Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong, and Margaret Lackey.

Iglesia Bautista El Tabernacula

Michael and Bertha Chavez are two missionaries who serve in Querataro, Mexico. They have planted a church in the city where they are all about ministering to those around them and serving. There are many different parts of their ministry. They host bible clubs, have services on Sunday mornings, evenings, and Wednesday evenings, lead a hospital ministry on Thursdays, evangelize on Saturday mornings, and are always looking for more to get involved in. They have 8 children. Two are still serving on the field with them while the others have returned to America. Please join us in praying for this family and the ministry they have in Mexico. SWAT Ministries

Jon and Chrissy Espy are two of our very own. In 2010 they felt God leading them to Thailand, so that is just what they did. They have a ministry in Chiang Rai called SWAT- which stands for Spiritual Warriors Against Trafficking. Thailand is the world’s most affected human trafficking country. In a nutshell, Jon and Chrissy train people to go into different places and rescue girls from these situations. Once they are brought out, they are then trained how to defend themselves when put in this type of situation. Through this, they are placed in a rescue home where they are ministered to and loved on. These are victims who have never heard of Jesus and have never felt love before. Jon and Chrissy also go into different villages and do bible clubs, English days, and evangelism in the areas.
