Mission Trips

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to ovey all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always, to the end of the age.”    - Matthew 28:18-20

We have several teams go out each year for ministry work in various parts of the world. Here is a look at the last few.

Mexico Team

This year, we had 13 people go to Querataro, Mexico. The team was split into 3 different groups to do 3 different bible schools in the area. We found 2 churches that had never really done a bible school and helped them make it happen. One church that started with 0 kids the first day ended with over 20 by day 5. Another church doubled by the end of the week, and another almost tripled. Several commitments were made this week. Besides bible schools, the team assisted in hosting 2 bible clubs, the hospital ministry, passing flyers out in several different cities,  and helping with needs around the church. 

Thailand Team- June

There were 9 people to go to Thailand this year for the summer trip. There were many different talents and personalities included in these people. The group helped the organization in many different ways. They went to a village for a weekend where they were able to host a bible club, prayer walk around the village, and witness to those that live there. They were also able to teach English classes at one of the churches in the city and help the SWAT organization with needs around the office including painting, plumbing, marketing, and office work. One special thing that the group participated in was a prayer time. For about an hour and a half, the group sat together with worship music going and just prayed out loud, over people, by themselves, and whatever they felt led to do. God was moving through this time.
