Students

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” - 1 Timothy 4:12

Our youth group is one like no other. Our group ranges from 6th -12th grade and is a variety of many different fun personalities. We are all about loving, encouraging, and being there for one another. Our time doesn’t stop on Sundays or Wednesdays, but we love getting to hang out and spend time together on the weekends as well. Here are a few activities we have been involved in.

Disciple Now

Our youth had a great time at Disciple Now. They did a study on Fearlessness and what it means to live out our faith without fear. They had several different large and small group studies. They did a mission project at a local place in Richland and then ended the weekend at Spinners for fun!

Christmas Party

Our youth had a great Christmas party filled with lots of food, laughs, and games. Through all the fun and games, we still led the students of the real meaning of Christmas. Giving, loving, and being the hands of feet of Jesus this Christmas season is what it’s all about!

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a program that we enjoy doing each year. Our youth and children went shopping and were able to pack them together. There were 28 boxes packed from our youth and children!

Bonfire

Bonfire

There is nothing like having a bonfire when it is 30 degrees outside. This past Saturday we got together and had a bonfire with smores and hot dogs. It was a fun “hangout” time spent and a lot of bonds were made. We were excited to meet several guests and share the Word with them. We used this as a ministry opportunity by having a lesson with it. We discussed what it means to live out a true faith and what a Christian looks like.

Judgement House

Judgement House

We were able to participate in a judgement house at Clearbranch Baptist in Wesson a few weeks ago. We went through several rooms where a story was played out. It was about what life after we die looks like. It brings into perspective what Hell and Heaven really are like and the importance of salvation.

Field of faith

Fields of Faith

Florence High School hosted a Fields of Faith in October. It was a student led event where students shared their testimonies, sang worship songs, and gathered on the field for prayer.

See you at the pole

See You at the Pole

See you at the pole was hosted at each schools and then we attended a rally that night where we learned to Be Bold and take a stand for Christ.
